Missing Griddle and out sock

As for as the cooktop I think is wonderful so far. However, the biggest disappointment is that the griddle that was promoted in the advertisement is was not in the in the order when the product arrived. An as I went through the steps of registering the product so that I can get my griddle. I was told I only had limited time to order the free griddle. When I went to the website and try to order , I it was out of sock. And as I read the other reviews, I learn that customers have been waiting over a year for this griddle and never received it. Therefore I am very disappointed in the promotion.

Called Customer Service to get the right griddle, and the one they want to send me (P/N W11266554) is clearly not the griddle shown and described with the cooktop. The representative says that is the only griddle they have listed for my cooktop. Does not appear that I will ever get the item advertised. Mark me frustrated!

I bought this during black Friday sale. Took about 3 weeks for delivery and install. Still waiting on griddle to deliver and try, but cooktop itself works great. It heats up my stainless steel pans quickly and evenly. This cooktop has 5 burners for cooking large meals. The only issue is that cleaning around knobs can be difficult.

There is no time frame given and we are very disappointed with the service from Lowes, where we purchased the cooktop and to the support we have been given from Maytag. Bought this 10 mths ago and just finally got my kitchen remodeled and it installed 3.weeks ago. Loving it so far. The free griddle/grill piece was the main reason I bought it and as soon as it was installed I registered the cook top and it arrived w/i a week. The cooktop cleans up easy and heats evenly and fast.

Falsely advertised- No reversible griddle/grill

I bought this cooktop specifically because it was advertised as having a griddle/grill that was reversible with a protective coating for glass top use. After patiently waiting for a month, the cook top is delivered. The reversible grill/griddle was not in the box. A piece of paper stating I am entitled to a free griddle once I register. I registered and get a link for a griddle. No mention of the grill or the reversibility that I purchased. I received the cook top on 9/2. The free griddle is due to arrive in November . Called customer service and tried the chat feature on two seperate occasions and after waiting for over 20 minutes for no answer, I gave up. Highly surprised from Maytag. I wrote a previous review regarding the griddle and was told to reach out on FB. I guess that is the new customer service management strategy.

3 months after purchase - still no griddle

I bought this cooktop may and it arrived in June. Everything leads you to believe that the griddle top comes along with the cooktop. When my cooktop arrived there was no griddle top. I called the Maytag dealer that I ordered through and they were confused as well but put in an order for my griddle top. They put the order in for it in June. I called in September and was told my griddle is still on back order. I finally saw someone mention in a review about supposedly receiving the griddle after product registration so I found my paper and registered. The registration page said I would be sent a follow up email regarding the griddle. No follow up email ever came. I chose this cooktop specifically for the griddle feature because I knew it would be a feature our family would utilize often. I feel frustrated and misled and it has now been over 3 months and I don™€™t even know if I will ever receive my griddle to get to utilize the feature I was most excited for.

We purchased this cooktop as part of a remodel for a home we are moving into in a few months. Why do you advertise the attributes of a griddle when it doesn't come with the cooktop? There was paperwork in the box stating that when we registered the cooktop, the griddle would be sent out. Two weeks ago, we registered the product and received a message stating "Registration confirmed. We'll send you a confirmation email shortly." We have received nothing, except a request to review the product. Will revise if/when griddle is received.

Scam Product and Terrible Customer Service

Bought product and it said griddle included. No griddle came in box. No guidance on how to get it in box. Only after reading the tons of dissapointed other customer's reviews did I see that apparently there's some process after registration to get it. Welp I registered and still nothing showing me where to get it. Tried phone support and couldn't get thru BC I didn't have maytag order number (bought at Lowe's) tried chat support and after 38minutes just trying to get the agent to understand my concern they gave me the same phone number. Planned on buying all new maytag appliances for the rest of my kitchen, but will be looking at other brands now. I'm trying to stay American, but companies make it so difficult with their terrible care of customers.

Cook top is very pretty and works well. The temperature controls work very well. Baked on surface dirt is a little harder to remove. I AM VERY UNHAPPY with the way I am supposed to get a griddle. Love my new cook top. It is everything I had expected. The installation team was great - professional, clean and knowledgeable. I was annoyed that the original order did not have the grill/griddle. It was included but ships after registration but I never received the email with instructions on ordering it so I had to call them - many transfer later I was able to place the order and the grill/griddle arrived within a week.

Be aware of griddle scam. Ordered stovetop with griddle. Never received griddle with stovetop. Was told I needed to register my appliance and then an email would be sent to me on how to order my griddle. I never received an email even after talking to customer service who told me it could take a few days before the team would sent me the information. I finally called customer service back after another week went by and was forwarded to another customer service representative who said that the griddles are on back order. I have not received my griddle to date.

I also haven't received my griddle .yet..it doesn't come with the cooktop itself but you order it for free when you register..its been almost 4 weeks and still haven't received it yet. We finally received our backordered ™€œ36 in. Radiant Electric Cooktop in Stainless Steel with 5 Burner Elements and Reversible Grill, Griddle™€ in March 2025 that we purchased through Best Buy in December 2024. The grill/griddle pan was not included. Contacted Maytag via chat- they said they would place an order for the missing pan but gave no timeline as it is™€¦ backordered. I mean it™€™s a featured component- it™€™s in the title of the cooktop on all seller sites. Other recent reviews on various sites reflect same missing pan issue. The cooktop is great but this is a disappointment, an added hassle, and an extended delay.

Says right on there very on website the Grill/Griddle is included. It is NOT. Does' not come in the box!. What appears in the box is a piece of paper to "redeem" the grill/griddle via the Maytag website once you register the product in question. Once registered Maytag well send you a "code" by email for you to redeem. The funny part about this.... I received the email with my code. Clicked on redeem which sent me to the Maytag site, grill/griddle page and guess what. IT"S TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK. So I can't order it...and who knows how long this will be. Will my code still work? What a joke!

This model is supposed to come with a griddle. There was no griddle, just a letter inside that explains an email will be sent on how to claim your griddle after you register the product. The email came with no link or instructions on how to get the griddle. Chat messaging with customer service just said wait for another email. So far, no emails.

I am really enjoying my Maytag cooktop. However I have run into so many problems to getting the griddle that is supposed to be part of the purchase. I have actually registered three times as instructions said that would send me info on how to get the griddle. I wish it had just been inside the box with the cooktop. Just giving it 4 stars because I have not received my griddle which I really want.

Wish the griddle was actually included

I am happy with the cooktop overall. Looks great, functions properly and I love the idea of the bridge element. I have not been able to use the bridge element, as you have to jump through hoops to get the reversible grill and griddle. I purchased through the Lowes app, where a picture of the griddle is included in the item description, as well as the wording "Sizzle food on powerful elements, with or without the included reversible grill and griddle." Even the description on Maytag's website, and the product description for this review say "WITH reversible grill and griddle". The reversible grill and griddle is not included. It can be requested, when you register the product. Problem is, I have not been able to find any way to request the griddle in the email I was sent, after the cook top was registered. All I want is to receive what was advertised to be as "included".

Once installed one heating element would only go to high and wasn™€™t adjustable in temp. Warranty has been contacted and will be coming by next week. Also didn™€™t have the griddle apparently they have to send you a form to receive it once you register it.

Don™€™t expect the grill / griddle

I bought this cooktop almost a month ago. Product description says it comes with a griddle/ grill. Besides the cooktop the only other thing g in box was a paper saying you have to register product to get ™€œbonus part™€. I can not get any straight answer about this part from Maytag/Whirlpool from numerous chats and calls. They finally send me a griddle for a gas cooktop when I purchased an electric cooktop. After another 2 hours on phone today with customer service still no answer on this.

Bought this cooktop because Maytag is supposed to be a good trusted brand. However they removed the griddle that should be included with it & put a single paper inside stating you have to first register it then you will get instructions on how to get the griddle. 3 days later no instructions so call to find out. After 3 hours being transferred multiple times they think they understand what "part" to order but have no idea when it will be available. So disappointed

The cooktop is good although the product description says it comes with a reversible grill/ griddle. No part was in the box. Just a paper saying to register product for your bonus part. I registered my cooktop and now two weeks later I still have no part or confirmation that I am getting said bonus part that was supposed to come with cooktop I ordered.

We have had this installed for about a month. It™€™s easy to use and heats up quick. The glass top cleaner Maytag sells works well to keep it clean. The only thing I am not satisfied with is the griddle that comes with it. The rubber pads that keep the glass top from getting scratched came unglued immediately so I have not been able to use the griddle.

Superior fit, finish and accessories.

Purchased as part of a kitchen remodel, replacing a similar style. We love the layout of the burners on this cooktop versus the old one. The fit and finish are top notch. The griddle this cooktop comes with is such a welcomed addition - so far, we've only had Reuben sandwiches but the heat was evenly distributed. Anxious to see what all we will cook on each side of the griddle.
